Bhadla Solar Power jodhpur Rajasthan

Bhadla village is situated in jodhpur district. Here solar power plant is installed in 56 square kilometre. Solar power production of this plant is 2245 MW, Highest in the world by any solar power plant.

Bhadla solar power project is a joint venture of Rajasthan Renewable energy corp limited (RRECL) and ministry of new and renewable energy (MNRE). Started in 2015, It was completed in 4 phase in 2018. It was cost 1.4 billion dollar.

Phalodi-Pokhran solar power project in 900 MW solar PV power project. This project is currently in financial stage, installation will start in year 2024 and commercial it will be open in 2025.

Fatehgarh (Jaisalmer) Solar Power Plant

The 296 MW plant was constructed by state-owned National Thermal Power Corporation. Its first phase was commissioned on 1 January 2022 and it went fully critical on 5 August 2022.

NTPC constructed this project as part of the Ministry of New and Renewable Energy’s Central Public Sector Undertaking (CPSU) Scheme Phase II. The project was secured via competitive bidding involving viability gap funding (VGF) during a 2019 auction held by the Solar Energy Corporation of India.

450 MW Solar power project in Bikaner

Noah village is situated in Pokhran tehsil of Jaisalmer district. The capacity of this project Is 925 MW of solar power production.

Rajasthan Solarpark Development Company Limited (RSDCL), a subsidiary of Rajasthan Renewable Energy Corporation (RREC), is developing the project in partnership with National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC).
